How we work
We're a small team based in the UK. We don't have a factory tour video or a founder-in-a-field origin story. What we have is a process: find an everyday product with a common, fixable flaw (the lid that pops open in a handbag, the tape that peels in the first frost, the commode that ships without the liners you'll obviously need) and fix it before it goes on sale.
Every Bergmis product starts as a shortlist of samples on a desk in the UK. We test them, break them, argue about them, and send most of them back. The one that survives gets re-specified with better materials, better sizing and the missing pieces included, and only then does it earn the label.
We sell through Amazon because it's genuinely the best infrastructure for getting things to you quickly and handling returns without fuss. But the brand behind the listing is real people. When you email us, one of us answers.
The company
Bergmis is a trading name of HDS Innovation Limited, a UK company (no. 16623018). Products are manufactured to our specification by audited partners in the UK and overseas, quality-checked before shipping, and fulfilled from Amazon's UK warehouses.
Every product we launch answers one question: what annoys people about the existing options? That flaw gets engineered out before anything else happens.
If using the product requires something else (liners, pads, fixings), it's in the box. Nobody should discover a missing part at 9pm.
